What’s so special about a Day-Of Coordinator?
Day of coordinators are definitely becoming more popular as of late, but some people are still skeptical. “I can do it myself”, “My family can help out”, and “Things will work out” are all common thoughts of wedding couples. But what about when something does go wrong? “Well then my family and wedding party can deal with it” is often the response. Problem is that those people are already busy. Bridesmaids are always busy ensuring the bride is taken care of, looks great, and only has to worry about the fact that she’s getting married. Groomsmen are busy ensuring the groom is prepared and isn’t getting cold feet. As for family, they should enjoy the day too and shouldn’t have to worry about place settings and that things are set up properly. And then either before or after the ceremony, depending on your preferences, all of these people are busy getting photos done.
So this is why a day of coordinator is beneficial. You don’t have to worry about place settings, that decor is set up properly, and that your vendors showed up and delivered things when they were supposed to. You can sit back, relax (as best you can), and simply enjoy your wedding day. Why should you have to stress about all of these little details when you can hire someone to do so?
Some people worry that their coordinator won’t care as much as them about their wedding day, but that may be one of the biggest lies anyone has ever said about a day of wedding coordinator.
